I believe education and the learning process is one of life's greatest gifts and one that spans your entire lifetime. I also believe individuals come to music for various reasons and get out of it what they need.

Because of this, I strive to provide authentic, student-centered learning experiences focused on the process of learning: an approach that allows and encourages students to discover information on their own, with appropriate support and guidance when needed.

This approach creates learning opportunities that provide students with a greater understanding of musical concepts, transferable skills, and a deeper appreciation for learning.
